Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This policy explains which ones we use, why, and what choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Essential. Required for the site and the Kinesis Platform to work — you can’t opt out of these without breaking sign-in:
| Cookie source | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Kinesis Platform session | Keeping you signed in; security (CSRF protection) |
| Auth0 (our identity provider) | Authentication and single sign-on |
Analytics. Used on our public website to understand how it’s used:
| Cookie source | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics (GA4) | Aggregate site-usage statistics — pages visited, how visitors arrive |
Analytics cookies are set only with your consent, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner.
Support tools. The in-app messenger in the Kinesis Platform and our help centre (help.kinesis.org) are provided by Intercom, which sets its own cookies to keep your conversation context. These are governed by Intercom’s policy and disclosed on our subprocessor list.
No advertising or remarketing cookies. No selling of data derived from cookies. No tracking of Platform users for marketing purposes — the Platform sets what sign-in requires, and that’s it.
Decline non-essential cookies via the banner, change your mind any time from the cookie settings link in the footer, or block cookies wholesale in your browser (sign-in will stop working). Questions: privacy@kinesis.org.
Changes to this policy are posted here with an updated date. Cookie categories are reviewed as part of the annual privacy review.
